picsignatureLouise Phipps Senft is both a pioneer and a revolutionary in her niche field of alternative dispute resolution which she parlayed into the best-seller Being Relational: The Seven Ways to Quality Interaction & Lasting Change (Simon & Schuster-HCI), her self-help book for how not to be a victim or a victimizer in daily decision making and interactions. She is now the developer and host of the podcast, Blink of an Eye, being listened to around the world on trauma, advocacy and healing, beginning with her own mediator in crisis story. Louise has served on the faculty of the University of Maryland Law School for 25 years and a lecturer at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation teaching her counter-cultural relational approach to negotiations and settlements which she popularized in Being Relational. She is also the founder of Baltimore Mediation, one of the first mediation firms in the U.S. and is the mother of five children in Baltimore.
